Throughout adult life my concept of political socialization was imparted upon me in equal parts by my family and agents of the media. My exposure to the political condition of America was initially built upon the ideas that were perpetuated by members of my family. It was especially in and around election times was the exposure maximum. Through socializing with them, I got to know about the pros and cons of each representative as well as of the opposing candidate.
